Architects and urban planners, aware of the importance of the Cathedral, have it talk with western religions and cultures. From the Institute du Monde Arabe, the statue of Saint Genevieve, Patron of Paris, the Memorial of the Shoah and the Notre Dame Cathedral are aligned. Further on the same axis, by enlarging the image, the top of the Arc de Triomphe and the towers of the area of La Défense, economic heart of the capital, are to be seen. Everything in the benevolent eye of the Republic symbolized by its flag, of course.
